"Booked into this hotel well my wife needed to be close while I had an operation in Royal Stoke hospital. Add a number of setbacks with timing and the staff here were excellent at rearranging nights I couldn't compliment them more on how they looked after my wife while I was in hospital. Even to the extent that after the event when my son had accidentally parked his car in the car park not knowing that he needed to register it they were good enough to resind the parking fine. Even on the day that I left hospital they let my wife come back and have a breakfast which she had missed earlier in the day"

"Staff were wonderful, but we had an executive room that was in a poor state of repair to the point that the fire safety information had to be reattached to the door. The list of defects were really high from holes in the carpet mismatched furniture door strip on the bathroom door coming off to name only a few. If this was an executive room the mind boggles what the standard room must be like."
