"We are long time visitors of Marblehead and this has been one of, if not the best place we’ve stayed so far. The property was well appointed from the kitchen all the way to linens. A great central home that you will love!"

"Each member of our family at some point every single day commented that it felt like we truly were living in the hosts beautiful, welcoming home. As in this is not your typical bare bones vacation rental. It is someone sharing their well curated home with you. Upon entering we struggled to unpack, because we quickly realized every need had been anticipated and graciously provided. You are greeted by a personal "welcome sign" and the techie questions are answered before they were asked. The kitchen was quite impressively stocked with everything our creative cooks needed from prep, to plate. There are multiple coffee makers, and even a bread maker. In the morning we gathered for coffee in the quaint private backyard space. In the evenings the large living room accommodated readers, watchers, and board game enthusiasts. The bedrooms and their closets were spacious and the mattresses were so comfortable we had to find out the company that made them. Another extra the host family provided was use of their camp chairs, towels, and coolers available for outdoor excursions. In a nutshell. The home was immaculate. It offered us more than we could have imagined. Check in was a breeze. The host communicated quickly before, during and after our stay offering recommendations even during the 4th of July festival week. Our family returns to MHD every year, and we feel as if we have found the perfect place to continue creating wonderful memories. "

"This property was beautiful. It was quiet and clean. I do believe it is more a bed and breakfast than a legitimate hotel. The staff, specifically Deb and Julie were fabulous. They were friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. They truly did everything they could to make our stay great. The few complaints I did have were due to my own misunderstanding of the property description and issues outside of the staff's control, like the couch in our room being ridiculously uncomfortable. The area is safe, quiet, and beautiful. The breakfasts were tasty and fresh, but are all cold like fresh fruit and pastries. There are no elevators, which had I noticed sooner, would have had a larger bearing on my decision to stay here. I would stay again, but not for 7 days, and definitely not on the 3rd floor again. I would recommend this place highly and only would suggest replacing the couch and putting in larger print on each room description that there is no elevator. "

"our experience was lovely. The home is well equipped from the kitchen to the bathrooms. We were given a very nice welcome basket with wine and snacks, the coffe bar was wonderful providing coffee for the large pot and keurig cups.We also loved the enclosed back yard.The home is in a very quiet neighborhood with easy access to restaurants and a convenience store.Sherill is a great host and provided us with updates about the hot weather.I highly recommend this host and this home."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Seaside Cottage. It had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend stay. Robert was very accommodating; he provided us with a list of places to visit and local eateries. He was available to answer any questions we had and if he was out his wife was there if we had needed her. The place was clean and stocked with both bathing items and kitchen items like coffee, tea and creamers. It was a great neighborhood to walk around and see all the unique houses and the bay is only steps away. You can walk to local eateries and shopping. Salem is just around the corner if you want to add that to your list of attractions to visit. We also took a scenic drive up the coast to Gloucester to visit Hammond Castle.We would stay again if in the area."
