Friendly staff, pleasant quiet location. Stayed in the Magnolia Cottage very well equipped and had everything that I could wish for comfortable, like home from home. Even made me smile when id broken the key off in the lock to round of a perfect day, new key no quibble supported with a laugh and an offer to get the fire brigade around to get me out. Would definitely stay here again. Dines in restaurant food good and good service.

Stayed 1 night to break up the journey from Cornwall back up North. Absolutely perfect. Gorgeous, clean, modern room complete with patio area and access to beer garden at the back. Air con, mini fridge, complimentary bottled water and milk for the brews. Staff were absolutely amazing. Food was hearty and delicious. It was a perfect end of our hols. The only negative was the clanging mirror hung on the back of the bathroom doir, which we lifted down and replaced before we left. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Had an annexe room which was spacious, clean and very quiet. Even had a little kitchen, but was only staying one night and had a tatsty evening meal in the restaurant. Good choice for breakfast.

What a fabulous little character village pub. The staff could not of been friendlier and the food was fabulous. My room was large clean and had everything you would need including complimentary slippers and a fridge. Ill definitely be staying again Keep up the fabulous work guys

Cosy hotel with warm welcome

Warm welcome from their staff and shown to our room which was modernised but retained its old character. Dinner was excellent in characterful dining room followed the next morning by a filling breakfast.
