"Fun, but small motel. Staff was friendly except for the first thing that was said to me was that they would ban me indefinitely if my debit card was blocked. My biggest issue was that there were no screens on any of the windows. With no A/C, I enjoyed having the windows open but felt less secure than I would have had there been window screens. They also highly recommend that you book directly through them rather than a 3rd party. The unfinished wooden ceiling was quite charming and have the room a cozy cottage vibe. The small cove nearby was beautiful and the local fish market nearby had some of the best halibut fish and chips I've ever had."

"I only had the pleasure of staying for one night but it was just simply amazing. This is a classic roadside motel located on the beach not too far from Newport. Kind what you would expect to see in a movie only with much more charm. The rooms were appointed with seaside beach accessories, a charming electric/wood burning fireplace that made the room seem cozy and warm. But I do not judge hotel rooms by the sleeping area, I judge them by the bathrooms. And mine was spotless, with beautiful white towels and a great bathtub/shower combo. The room has two doors. One from the parking lot and the other on the beach side. The beach side of the property was equipped with picnic tables and charcoal grills with a pathway and stairs down to the beach. I was able to let my dog go outside and watch him from inside my room. He loved it there. The office closes at 8pm and my arrival time was scheduled for 7;45pm. By the time I arrived, Chad at the front desk had already unlocked my room, set up the fireplace and heater, with instructions and a waiver to sign. He was really on top of his job. I cannot wait to go back."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the minute, we drove up and parked the car, it was a wonderful experience. Our grandchildren, who are 13, 11, and 10, were so excited about the fact that they could just take over that top floor with the two bedrooms and bathroom. And the fact that there was private beach access was the frosting on the cake! We felt like we had our own personal beach. The house was clean and in good working order. We all had a wonderful time. We will definitely consider this property again when we make future beach, vacation plans."
