Waldport Bayfront Hotel and Restaurant

"We enjoyed our two-night stay at the Waldport Bayfront Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable for the location. It also looks like the hotel is in the process of making updates and improvements, which was nice to see. One of the best features of our room was the patio door that opened directly to the bay, giving us a great and easy access outside. The door itself could use some maintenance, though, as it was very difficult to open and close and the track had quite a bit of dirt buildup. The furniture arrangement in the room was a little awkward, especially around the bed. There was no power outlet on one side, so both of us had to use the same nightstand to charge our phones. A few changes to the room layout or additional charging outlets would make a big difference. The TV was a nice surprise. It was a decent-sized Smart TV on a full-motion mount, so we could angle it toward the bed and log into our own streaming services. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open at any point during our two-night stay, so we weren't able to try it. Overall, we felt the hotel offered great value. The room was clean and roomy, the bay access was a major plus, and the few issues we encountered were relatively minor and seem like things that could easily be improved as the property continues to be updated. We would definitely stay here again."

"The location on the coast is great in relation to larger cities and it is ocean front, so we've enjoyed the king tides on previous visits but this trip was for the low tide to throw the ball on the massive beach and explore tidal pools a little further south. The rooms are well appointed and we especially like the glass outside wall in the shower."

"Fun, but small motel. Staff was friendly except for the first thing that was said to me was that they would ban me indefinitely if my debit card was blocked. My biggest issue was that there were no screens on any of the windows. With no A/C, I enjoyed having the windows open but felt less secure than I would have had there been window screens. They also highly recommend that you book directly through them rather than a 3rd party. The unfinished wooden ceiling was quite charming and have the room a cozy cottage vibe. The small cove nearby was beautiful and the local fish market nearby had some of the best halibut fish and chips I've ever had."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the minute, we drove up and parked the car, it was a wonderful experience. Our grandchildren, who are 13, 11, and 10, were so excited about the fact that they could just take over that top floor with the two bedrooms and bathroom. And the fact that there was private beach access was the frosting on the cake! We felt like we had our own personal beach. The house was clean and in good working order. We all had a wonderful time. We will definitely consider this property again when we make future beach, vacation plans."
