Top Stoke-sub-Hamdon Hotel Reviews
Holbrook Manor & Spa.
10/10 Excellent
"Nice hotel to stay and relax. Out of town and great gardens/open space. Pool and gym were also good. The evening food was a little limited choice, considering location you needed to drive if you wanted to eat elsewhere. We stayed as a stop over on our way to Cornwall and decided to book again for the way home."
Admiral's Table, Bridgwater by Marston's Inns
8/10 Good
"Nice room, with a very big bed. Small issue with room was a security light right outside bedroom window that was very bright. The Admiral table pub was cold. The air con was on in the evening and at breakfast, set too low. We found table as far from air conditioning as possible."
The Walnut Tree Hotel
8/10 Good
"Staff very helpful and genuinely interested. Meal was ok if not a bit pricey. Hotel dated but clean and comfortable."
Wookey Hole Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"When booking I didn't realise the hotel was right next to the ticket office to Wookey Hole Caves, what a bonus. Checking in was easy and the staff were very informative. After a busy day we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. You do have to reserve in advance but the staff went the extra mile and fitted us in, we were very thankful due to having an exhausted and hungry child. We couldn't fault the meal, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The family room was a good size, including two single beds and a double, all comfortable for firmer beds. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We didn't hear any other guests, I believe it was busy due to the school holidays. We had breakfast at the hotel, you also need to pre book. Its self service, there was lots to choose from, freshly cooked full English, cereals, fruit, croissants etc. We filled up for the day. We found all the staff to be polite, helpful and as I said previously, they went the extra mile. How refreshing to come across good customer service. Thank you."
The Bull Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Fabulous bedroom Great breakfast quality and choice too"
George Albert Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"A very pleasant and convenient base for a short Dorset stay. Room very clean and comfortable and usefully a restaurant and bar on site if you didn't want to go out to eat. Good comprehensive breakfast offering too, Our room did look out over adjacent building rooftops -not great - maybe request more open view room. There was a very active mini race track adjacent too but noise stopped early evening - you can see that on Google Earth. Overall, with great staff and good value we would use again happily"
The Thatched Cottage Inn
8/10 Good
"I found Courtney and Cookie very helpful and able to deal with folk well. The breakfast is quite basic but the rooms are really lovely and spacious and it is fairly central."
White Hart Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were all lovely and the breakfast one of the best ive ever had"
Montigo Resorts, Somerset
8/10 Good
"The hotel is lovely, very attractive main entrance and lobby. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and overall it was very clean in the room and public areas. The spa facilities were really good, we loves the courtyard with the large hot tub. Only small grumbles about the room were the lack of curtains and no decaf coffee, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was modern and clean. The bistro food and hot drinks are very overpriced for what they are, a salad with a very small amount of topping were £15 and a small cup of coffee was £5. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would go back."
