First there is no oven, so cooking is very difficult. Second, there are no doors to the bedrooms so it is very hard to make it quiet for the little kids while they sleep. "I stayed in the cottage with my niece and her 2 children for a 2 night visit to New Buffalo. The cottage is essentially a big studio space with a screened-in porch. It’s adorable and very homey. Upon arrival, we found a dead mouse on the porch- the owners had already alerted us to the fact that this might be the case so we were prepared. "we very much enjoyed our time in New Buffalo! The house was very close to a more private beach which everyone enjoyed. We also loved walking through town and eating at Oinks & The Stray. Picking blueberries at Mike’s was also very fun! The house was great and having beach towels and chairs available helped cut down on packing."

"Enjoyed time in Union Pier for an early Mother's Day treat to my mother in law. Place was inviting and well appointed. Plenty of bedrooms for all of us.
