"I did one overnight stay with my boyfriend and one year old. Unfortunately the pool was out of service, but the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. We drove in to Columbus, which was 10 minutes down I 10 towards Houston to go to a steakhouse and popped into their Hound song brewery for an appetizer and beer. Very easy location to access off of the interstate and close to gas stations, fast food, and Dollar General."

"Since the hotel has been remodeled from a Best Western it is a lot nicer. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. The reason for a four is the floor tile was cracked which should have been replaced during the remodel and the lens cover on the light nearest the sofa was cracked and taped together with scotch tape."

"If you are looking for a great place to spend time with family, especially outdoors, this is a wonderful pick. It is very stylish, clean and there is a lot to do on the property. Sipping coffee on the porch in the morning and listening to the cows and birds is idylic. I would say the one complaint is the arrangement of the bedrooms (one flows into the other), and the fact that the downstairs bedrooms are far from the bathroom which is right off the kitchen. If you have much older members in your party, this could present a problem. The upstairs bedroom/bathroom area is beautiful and well-appointed, and the beds are SO comfortable!! Overall, great place to enjoy time with family and close to wedding venues!"
