"As cyclists on the great taste trail, this property had everything we could possibly want. The location is very peaceful and is near river access. The house has been tastefully redecorated while keeping a 'bowling' theme. I wish we could have stayed more than one night. Excellent."

"This place has all the relaxed charm of a 'typical' kiwi bach with the advantage of all the mod cons. You can relax and not worry about clashing with the decor or design asethetic! "A beautiful peaceful setting in the countryside close to all the travel and experiences along the Able Tasman area. We had four full on busy days there and it was great to be able to return in the early evening to relax and have full cooking facilities to enjoy our catch from the Anatoki Salmon Farm. "We had spent almost a week up in Abel Tasman Park at Awaroa so had been busy hiking, swimming and watching the tides. After all the running about, boat trip up and back this was a super relaxing stop for a couple of days. The view out over the river to the sea and distant mountains is fantastic and we woke up to a brilliant red sunrise. We did laundry and fed some of my breakfast croissant crumbs to the chickens. Its was great."

"Excellent place to stay and a great location. Really enjoyed ourselves. A bit of a tricky driveway. Could do with some window coverings in the lounge and a microwave. The stove top was difficult to use and didn’t seem to get hot enough to cook food in a timely manner. Minor things in the bigger scheme still a really cool place and we would stay again. Thanks"
