"This property was easy to find and very well maintained. It was interesting being on a working farm. Caron had a great book with lots of information. She left us some country ham and biscuits. She had everything we could have ever needed. We love all the sunsets & all the fireflies. Our family became Makers Mark Ambasssdors a few years back and we planned this family vacation to pick up our bourbon. We had a wonderful time. Thanks, Caron"

"We enjoyed a few days away at this property. Be aware, this unit is on the second floor. There is a stair lift which was a blessing. If you need it, make arrangements in advance. It has an updated kitchen area and even a dishwasher. Also, the outside grill is charcoal, which was provided. The bed was large and comfy."

"Great location! We went to horse races at Keeneland on Saturday (about 40 minute drive) and hiked East Pinnacle in Berea College Forest on Sunday (about 20 minute drive). Beautiful and so much fun! House was spotless and included all necessary amenities. Host was very responsive to all my questions; provided lots of tips on dining options in area. EKU is just a block away! Beautiful campus to take a walk."

"Nice getaway spot! We didn’t have quite the view of the river as pictured on VRBO (area was a bit overgrown) but we still enjoyed relaxing on the back porch taking in the surroundings. If you happened to forgot anything (toiletries, sunscreen, etc) chances are this host provided it! Very thoughtful. House is well supplied with kitchen necessities, games, movies & resources for things to do in the area. Even though there is no WIFI, as host stated, we were able to watch tv with the antenna. "The staff was friendly, quick to respond to our requests, knowledgeable, and prepared for our arrival. The only "not excellent" thing was there was a faint odor of mildew that permeated the room. Other than that one little thing the stay was excellent. We will stay there again."
