"The stay was perfect from start to end. We didn’t want to leave and commented how nice it would have been to stay longer. The grounds were well kept, in a beautiful setting with the lake and canal. The staff were all very polite, helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The rooms were quite considering there was a wedding on during our stay. "Lovely hotel, lovely staff, floors were a bit creaky as wobbly but it's a old building to be expected! Nice simple room with everything you need. Was very very warm though but there was a fan provided which made it a bit better! Nice little touches with the show gels and things! Cleaning in the bathroom.was a bit poor, hairs and bit left around but sometimes it happens! Breakfast was fab too! All in all was a lovely stay and would definitely come back! "
