"A nice spacious room, with large comfortable bed. A good sized TV.
Very helpful staff, particularly the manager when we first arrived.
Parking in the street was our preferred option, as it is only chargeable from 8.00am till 6.00pm, when we were mostly out. The in-house car park is very expensive.
Breakfast was good but too much hot food is put out at once, meaning it soon gets cold. They would be far better bringing it out a bit at a time."
"Really enjoyed our stay, hotel is modern and spotless. Breakfast quality was a real positive. Room was cosy and the beds were very comfortable. Great location in the city!

"Location was gold to get on motorway to Walsall and sufficient parking. However, booked so we could use spa facilities on our free day and upon arrival found these were out of action completely so very disappointed. Receptionist just told us that parts ordered and would be up and running Monday! No good to us as staying Fri-Sun. TV in room was black and white (eventually replaced by handyman Brian who was lovely). Toilet flush was constantly dripping. Later found out that pool/sauna was ok to...
"Convenient for the city. Rooms were a little hot, but thankfully fans provided. Lift out of services and the bathroom had no towels when we arrived.
Buffet breakfast was cold, and no coffee at so had to wait for Starbucks . Staff were friendly and it was used solely as a base for us to sleep"

No air conditioning, however, provided a fan but not needed. The weekend we stayed cooler weather conditions. The room was spacious, clean. No fault with this hotel would come back again. Thank you."
"Reception staff were really excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. However we were disappointed with dinner in the restaurant as we were expecting a more ambitious menu, rather than 'pub grub' at higher prices. Breakfast was much better. The bar was closed for redecoration so cannot comment on that."
"Lovely lady receptionist upgraded us to a superior double which was spacious with a large bed and great view of the church opposite,
Ben, the duty manager was very efficient with the breakfasts. He got me extra tea as requested and did a lovely takeaway bag of sausage and bacon sandwich so my husband could eat later.
Great staff, stylish rustic hotel. A perfect stay!"
