"We chose this hotel because it looked very nice and was pet friendly. When we wanted to gather as a group on the patio with our 2 very small dogs, we were told that dogs are not allowed on the patio. They are also not allowed in the front entry near the desk or in the seating area outside the lounge. So…I guess they are only allowed in the rooms? We felt very bad leaving our dogs in a room just to visit in the common area so we had to all sit in one room and it wasn’t nearly as comfortable. I would much rather go to a hotel that was actually pet friendly and allowed dogs, at least on the outdoor patio."

"The room was just fine and comfortable enough. We did not use many of the amenities because our actual stay in the room was very short, but the kitchenette style would be very convenient for anyone planning a longer stay. The room was on the ground floor and we discovered both windows were unlocked, which would have allowed an intruder easy access. All rooms in that accommodation are ground floor, so we caution everyone to check that the windows are locked! Plenty of parking space."

"Stayed in Room 223 while visiting for the Cold Lake Air Show and had a memorable stay overall. The staff were very accommodating and brought us extra towels when we needed them. Adequately clean. The bed was comfortable and sheets very clean. The AC was operating but had very limited cooling capacity. It provided some cooling locally, but failed to reasonably cool the room even when left running. We ended up buying three fans to stay comfortable and were often hit with waves of heat. I wonder if 223 being directly above a suite marked LAUNDRY contributed to the heat. A couple of other items could use some repairs as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly service. Adequate AC would greatly improve guests’ experience, and it would be the main factor in deciding to return."

"We totally enjoyed ourselves at Kit's property. The highlight definitely was the pool house. Large pool, warm water and a relaxing sauna. The hot tub outside of the pool house was widely used as well and a hit with our group of 12. The house was roomy enough for all of us and had a large well stocked kitchen. Kit was a very good to deal with and prompt communicator. We strongly recommend this property."

"If I plan to stay again, I will bring my own coffee maker. There wasn’t one in the room and the lobby was locked until 8 am. When I arrived I wanted to put food and soda in the fridge, and it was not running. I turned the fridge on and then unintentionally froze items."
