"Garden Suite was lovely and beautiful bathroom (with TV screen set in the tiles!) Lovely quality breakfast. Allowed to leave dog in room, but not to take him into breakfast which was understandable. Our dog kicked off barking and we couldn't leave him. Massive thanks to Caroline in the dining room as she accomodated as seperately in a room overlooking the gardens so we could bring our dog with us into breakfast!"

"The house was rather small for 4 people. It would have been helpful to be told that outdoor furniture was in the shed which was padlocked. Only on day 4 did we realise the small key attached to the back door key was for the shed. We would have liked more local information ie details of the Chequers Inn in the village which we found it to be a welcoming and well used pub.; pamphlets about local villages and places of interest ( there was information about the beaches but not a lot else); some Ordnance Survey maps would have been useful. General reading books would have been good too.The tv was temperamental! Kitchen was well equipped. We found the mattresses rather soft for our taste but, overall, even though this sounds to be a rather critical report - we enjoyed our stay."

"This was a remote location, accompanied by a couple of holiday lets nearby, with a large garden and a short walk to get to the marshes and access to the coastal walk. The rooms were excellently decorated, with first-rate furniture, top quality white goods and a lovely kitchen-diner. Two bathrooms served the needs of our party very adequately, as did the lounge, again well-furnished, bedrooms likewise. Parking was adequate and easy access, although the instructions given made this so. The garden was not used a great deal, as we visited a few attractions in the area, but it was ideal for outdoor games, and watching the local wildlife. To the side was the hot tub which we used. It all contributed to a very relaxing holiday. Thankyou, Mr. Hickey."

"Excellent stay and did not mater about the cooler weather. A good stay and friendly neighbours helped us find Poppy House around the back of the other cottages. Lovely stay and plenty of blues (cockles) depending on low tide and a 3 mile walk out with small plank bridges to help. Great place for a well behaved dog. Don’t forget his bed. We didn’t. "

"Very quaint cottage, in a very peaceful, pretty village. Very clean, and had everything we needed. Very steep stair, but this is due to the age of the cottage. Would not recommend for very elderly or very small children. Lovely big garden, and even had 2 BBqâ€™s. The only things that let it down were the strange bedding combinations on the single beds, and the very poor shower. We understand this is due to poor water pressure in the area, but it wasnâ€™t sufficient for washing long hair properly! etc."
