We were on the 6th floor and being almost 6' tall the hallways were maybe 6'6", so not as spacious as new hotels. But our room was nice and clean. Pool needs to be maintained a little more but kids had a great time. The observation deck amazing clean, comfortable and definitely a great way to relax. Thank you for a wonderful weekend"

"The hotel is downtown, and not within walking distance of anything. The hospitality side of the hotel was LACKING....housekeeping would not make the bed, take out the trash or refill the coffee and tea. When I asked the front desk about making the bed, the response was "We don't do that unless you ask for it." I asked for it.......didn't happen for the 3 days we were there. The breakfast cafe in the hotel was decent....if you didn't mind waiting for up to 45 minutes for your order. ...

The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the hot tub felt wonderful after a long day. The room was nice, but the bathroom was smaller than expected and didnt have an exhaust fan so the ceiling was peeling from all the moisture.. The bathroom is really my only complaint."

"Unión Station is gorgeous. We stayed there for our anniversary to watch the light show and hang out in the grand Hall and have cocktails. There was a wedding that night so they had the entire grand hall blocked off and we were not able to do any of that. The staff were not necessarily friendly and the whole place outside smelled like gas. The rooms were fine, but it just seems over priced."

"Me and my wife came here for our 5 year anniversary. Chad, the manager, was so very helpful and even printed out pictures to leave in the room for me to surprise my wife! The employees at the Magnolia were nice and thoughtful including the valet services! The game room had shuffleboard and billiards which we took advantage of multiple times. The restaurant Robie’s was very satisfying including their crab cakes! The dining staff were also very thoughtful and nice. Of course the hotel is antique...

"Our stay has been wonderful except for the fact that our room never gets cleaned and the only other complaint is that although it is advertised as handicapped accessible in the bathroom the shower has no grab bars and no seating in the shower. The other drawback on handicapped accessible is the front doors in the lobby have not got one that is easily available for the handicapped."

Great concept and location but the most poorly run hotel I have ever experienced. Staff were helpful at front desk with what they had to work with. Management sorely lacking and should be restrained or replaced. I spent my professional life as an efficiency expert and quality control...
