Neighborhood:
The Benton Park Neighborhood is named after St. Louis' second-oldest park. From its beginnings as early as 1836 to today, this neighborhood has maintained a prominent place in the city's heritage. With Benton Park's age and architecture, it earned the distinction as the largest historic district in St. Louis in 1985 when the Landmarks completed a voluminous nomination into the National Register.

The place is very nice and the host is very responsive and attentive. The kitchen, dining room, and outdoor space are nice gathering spots for family or friends and the beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

My family of four came down to St. Louis for the weekend. We wanted to drop off our things before heading out for the day. Our host was gracious enough to let us check in early and do just that. The house was clean and the 3 bedrooms accommodated our family. I would have like to explore the neighborhood but my son wasn’t feeling up to it. It was a nice place.

Pix of the place were accurate. Very comfy beds. Lovely outdoor deck/patio. Perhaps a bigger coffee pot would have been helpful…. the small 4-cup pot did not make enough at a time for multiple people. But overall a nice stay!

I chose this property for myself and family to stay while visiting from Atlanta,Ga to attend the baby shower for my son and girlfriend who are both in the Navy. St. Louis is her home state. This property was the absolute best choice I could’ve made. The host was very attentive from the time I booked up until check out. I would definitely recommend this property and would definitely book again if I ever find myself traveling back to St. Louis. The best experience ever. Thanks again Matei!! You were the best!! We had a group of five ladies who came to St. Louis for a concert and mini vacation. The neighborhood was okay and within walking distance to several restaurants. When we arrived to the property, we had some major issues with cleanliness. We vacuumed up tons of dog hair and dog food ourselves and contacted the owner. He sent the cleaners to come and clean the next day and also refunded the $150 cleaning fee. When we arrived the refrigerator was also not working. The owner did get someone to go buy a mini fridge and bring it, but it was the following night before we got it. The ceiling fan in the middle queen bedroom did not work and there was no mirror in this room. We blew the breaker in one of the bedrooms because we didn’t know we couldn’t have the air conditioner on while running the blow dryer. We did not have access to the breaker box so we had to wait for someone to come reset it. The rental was roomy for the five of us, the decor was nice, and the beds were comfortable. The rental has potential if those areas are addressed. I thought we should have had more refunded based on our experience.
