Outside grassy area had a lot of cigarette butts which was unpleasant. Also outside seating on grass a few more options would be good. Most of the seats were really low.

"What a gem of a hotel this is. Had a lovely sea view single room that was comfortable and spacious. Bed was lovely and comfortable. It is right by a bus stop and close to all amenities. Three theatres nearby and a short walk to the town and the pier. I can't comment on the dining as didn't eat there and also can't comment on parking as travelled by train. The staff were lovely too,"
"I only needed it for one night business. The host was friendly and the price was very reasonable considering it had its own ensuite. It's a little out if the centre but only 15mins walk from St Leonard train station. "
"Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. "Overall, my stay at the hotel was pleasant and welcoming experience. The staff were warm and attentive, and the service offered solid value for money. That said, the balcony could have benefited from more thorough cleaning, and the absence of in-room WiFi was a notable drawback—especially since access was limited to the lobby. With a few improvements in cleanliness and connectivity, the hotel has the potential to offer an even more comfortable and enjoyable stay."
