"Step into Room 18 , although signed , is a bit precarious if you are unsteady on your feet . Light switch to bathroom kept falling off . Breakfast , although nice , is overpriced . Location is very convenient for city Centre . "

"Very friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel is in a great location just outside the bustle of the centre but close enough to be accessible on foot. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Parking very convenient as well. Tried only a couple of side dishes from the restaurant and they were of high quality. Coffee shop and a few shops / restaurants just across the street."

"Breakfast was great for both vegan and vegetarian dietary requirements and there were plenty of options. There was also plenty of parking in the lodge"

"A nice hotel with a beautiful garden. Breakfast in the conservatory with view into the garden was nice The owner tries to make the make the stay comfortable with small but nice things like a bus time plan in the foyer or a coffe machine in the room or the offers at the buffet breakfast"

"Room was far too hot-top floor and heating pumping out with no way to turn down. Small fan in room not up to job of cooling sufficiently. Bar /food not open. Disappointing for a Mercure hotel. Staff apologetic but unable to solve issue."

"We loved this place! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped. Brilliantly located for the park and ride bus and central Oxford. Could have done with an extra coffee sachet in the room so we could have a coffee each would be the only negative! Will definitely be back! Thank you! "
