"Front desk was very nice and lobby is beautiful. This hotel is historic and has a very European feel in the rooms (high ceilings, bathrooms, antique furniture). Everything was spotless, bathrooms small but very clean and refreshed. Shower/tub was excellent and new. We didn't have a hair dryer in the room, but was able to ask for one without problem. Furnishings are very solid. It is currently the best option for the area, hands down. Small town downtown but many eating options all around. We will stay here again!"

"This is a budget hotel that offers everything a guest needs and expects in this price category, including a hot breakfast. The room has a microwave and refrigerator which I did not expect. My room faced the back of the property, which was some woods and greenery, very pleasant view. I wanted to be on the ground floor since the hotel does not have an elevator but since the property is is on a hill, in the back the ground floor window and balcony are pretty high from the ground so I felt pretty safe. The bathtub had a non slip bottom which was very appreciated. Breakfast was sufficient, included eggs and sausage. The person who checked me in was very helpful understanding my needs and preferences and gave me a room that was exactly right for me. "
