Good breakfast choice, although a bigger plate would be nice, a side plate not an ideal size for a full English breakfast. Great sea view from out room and the hotel is in a prime spot to vist all that Whitby as to offer. "

"Some refurbishment going on but this did not interfere with our stay. The breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. The bar was well stocked and a marvelous selection of spirits. The room was very well maintained and comfortable. "

"Rooms have seen better days I need of a freaking up. Doors and needing replaced. Bad mold around the windows. For £70 a night it’s not really acceptable. "

"Clean room, if tired, was nice for 2 nights though I did mention to them that the mattress in our lovely room really needed replacing. The staff were great but clearly shorthanded. On our first night we ate in the bar, but waited an hour for our meals which were ok... The views as shown on the ads are spot on - incredible, and we were very lucky with the weather. With some investment, this place could be really, really lovely, inside as well as out."
