All Seasons - Muskoka Retreat on Sparrow Lake

"We had a wonderful few days. Was four adults. House itself is wonderful with a fully stocked kitchen, a comfortable living area with a nice big tv, and a large dining table. Bedrooms and bathrooms were fine for our few days.Outside. New hot tub was wonderful, though I would have liked patio stones from stairs to tub. Deck was wonderful as well with nice views down to the dock. Have to be careful of the step down as it is a 2 level deck. Loved the fire pit with plenty of muskoka chairs to use. As well they had some fun lawn games to play. Did not use any of the water toys, but they have canoe, kayaks and a paddle boat.Overall we really enjoyed our time and would go back."
Beautiful Waterfront Cottage with Hot Tub in South Muskoka

"We stayed with a large group for Labour Day weekend, we had a very fun time! Communication with the host before the trip was not great, and extra fees were added last minute, but I understand it was Labour Day weekend and that people get too busy to check apps. There was a pool that we didn’t see in the listing so that was a nice surprise! There are cameras pointed at the pool and at the hot tub, which should’ve been disclosed in the listing, and on the in person tour, based on Vrbo’s camera policies. Other than that we had a great time, the cleaning lady, Denica was very sweet and helpful when giving us the tour, she even took a group photo of us at the end of our trip! This cottage has a lot of amenities that are attractive for large groups- karaoke machine, soccer and axe throwing games in the yard, trampoline, pool and hot tub and a sauna (the sauna wasn’t ready yet for our trip but it’s there), smart tvs, equipped kitchen, you name it! I had brought tons of things with me (TP, hand soap, baby wipes, a cheese grater, etc) because I was worried they wouldn’t have stocked the place very much but they had everything we needed and more! You can tell the housekeeper really takes care of everything. Overall great trip and we would come back!"

"The house was exactly what expected. Cozy cottage with great views. The water was a bit grassy but our kids still swam in it! The volleyball court was a great addition and the kids spent a ton of time on the trampoline. The zip up nets on the outdoor gazebos were great to have as it got super buggy as soon as the sun set. A couple of the bedrooms were a bit tight (which I expected for a cottage), but I wouldn’t lower the review for that. Overall we really enjoyed our four night stay."
New Built Luxury Cottage

"The house overall is nice and a great set up for a big group. Each of our couples had their own rooms and the kids were able to all bunk up together and share a bathroom, which was great. I don’t expect the best of the best in a rental property but we had a few issues with the house that caused frustration and made the price feel high.First and foremost, the pool was completely broken during our entire stay. The host initially tried to do a quick fix before we checked in but it was never actually fixed and we could not use during our entire week. I would have expected more of an effort from the host to get a professional out to remediate vs asking us to keep refilling the water, add chlorine, wait for the filter to run, etc. Ultimately we booked the house bc of the pool and not having the ability to use it was very frustrating. The nice Miele coffee machine did not work. Luckily there was a back up pot but disappointing. WiFi was slow our entire trip, and the tv stopped working after our second night. The host did help with WiFi so we could stream a World Cup match but other than that, fairly hard to use devices. Of course we spent most of our time outside so not a huge deal, just would have expected more for the price!Outside of the issues at the house, the location is fantastic. Easy to rent boats and other water toys at the marina. The lake itself was beautiful and we had a lot of fun out on the water."

"This was a great location for a large group on a golf trip. All amenities were on site, plenty of room and comfortable beds made the weekend very enjoyable. Hot tub and sauna worked great, and plenty of room for lawn games and beach volleyball were exactly what we were looking for! Host was very responsive and process was super easy. Would stay here again and would recommend to anyone with a sizeable group looking for a relaxing and fun filled stay."

"Our stay at Bethany's cottage in the woods was great! The cabin is cozy, private but not secluded, it was a quick trip to town!We loved the hot tub and sauna and we had more then enough space for the 4 of us who stayed. We would definitely stay again, hopefully in the summer the next time to see the cottage with all the beautiful trees!"

"The compact unit was elegantly decorated, clean, modern and great for 2 people. Outside table and bbq on the front deck. Fire pit. Unit faced the lake , with canoes/ kayaks and paddle boat available. Restaurant on site, clean and modern, try the Fish & Chips you won’t be disappointed. A great place to relax or travel around. We visited in September, quiet and relaxingClive & Lois"
