Our host helped make reservations from the airport with taxi’s and ferry as well had a golf cart at the dock for us. Great grocery store very close by and a few restaurants worth eating at. Very laid back island. "

"We had an amazing vacation at Rest Ashore! Booking and communication with the owner was great! The house is in a great location steps from a beautiful beach and gorgeous sunrise! We booked a boat tour with our owner that was so much fun! The house had everything we needed! It included a stand up paddle board and kayaks and golf cart. If there is anything I would improve upon is the kitchen supplies. It included the basics which was more than fine, but if you needed anything special you may want to inquire. The beds were comfortable. We had a great stay and can’t wait to return again!! "

"The house was immaculate as usual. A few new things were added since we stayed last August. April decorates the house so nicely. Great location and the golf cart is such a nice added bonus. We will be back!!! "

"We came with our kids and grandkids and had the best 10 days! The location of the house to the beach was fantastic. The beach is a giant sandbar that you can walk forever and never find the end of. It was shallow and glorious on hot Bahama days. Having a pool at the house when we were done at the beach was even better! When we were done in the sand and salt, the pool was a welcome afternoon activity. We loved the outdoor shower and used it daily. Rachel and her son were welcoming and on top of anything we needed while we were there. The only negative is the bedroom/great room upstairs. It's not a room at all, but a landing that is open to the rest of the house with curtains for privacy. We had a one year old with us and that was the only area big enough for the pack and play and mom and dad, but did not serve well during naps or bedtime. The lack of an actual fourth bedroom could be stated clearer on the listing for people travelling with kids or wanting more privacy. Other than that we couldn't have asked for a better house or a better place to spend our vacation."

"No coffee in the morning was a disappointment. Windows didn't fully close so we listened to street noise until late. "

"This is our second stay at Rake N Scrape, and we are already looking to plan our next vacation there. The house has everything you need, the beds are comfortable, and the beach is peaceful. The property manager, Vince, was so nice and met us at the docks, made sure we knew everything about the house, and brought us the most delicious mangoes. Spanish Wells is a beautiful island, and we look forward to visiting it again. "
