Discover a more intimate side of Tuscany from Castagno, a spacious apartment with a private entrance located within Brotes, our vineyard estate in the Montagnola Senese, just 25 minutes from Siena. It is a retreat surrounded by nature and silence, perfect for those of you who wish to experience this part of Tuscany from a special place, whether with family or friends.



Situated at 580 meters above sea level and surrounded by centuries-old chestnut trees, Brotes sits atop a hill in a protected natural area. Here, we cultivate our own grapes and produce our own wine, continuing a tradition that has been part of these lands for centuries.



The iconic strade bianche wind through forests and countryside, leading you to the estate and setting the stage for the peaceful landscape that awaits. Once here, the pace of life slows down.



Castagno offers spacious, comfortable areas to share without sacrificing privacy. There are two large bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, plus a third, simpler annex bedroom with a fan. The apartment has an independent entrance accessed by stairs, allowing you to enjoy your stay with complete autonomy.



Start your morning at your own pace, relax by the pool, unwind in the hot tub or sauna, and find your own spot to read or rest. In the evening, gather around the table and enjoy a dinner that stretches into the night with conversation and good company.



You can also discover our wine and olive oil, and in season, pick fresh produce from the garden to bring to your table.



Siena is 25 minutes away, and Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Montalcino, and Volterra are perfect for exploring Tuscany from Brotes.
