"Excellent in every aspect initially booked for 2 days.Jicin location is ideal for hikers and bikers, lots of sightseeing nearby, ended up staying a whole week. Friendly and helpful staff, clean, and nice breakfast, could not use the pool, only skin tight swim shorts for men allowed in the pool. That was the only downside. Would stay again and will bring my swimming tights."

"We had reserved an apartment since we wanted an extra room with a separate sitting area. Unfortunately, it was hot and an air conditioning unit in the sitting room was out of service. Immediately, hotel staff offered us to switch for two adjacent bedrooms with an additional bed, but no sitting arrangement. Also they said that they will call a repairman to fix the problem. Since we did not need a second bed to sit on we decided to wait for the repair service. We stayed for 3 days abut the unit had not been fixed. We had asked a couple of times about the status of the repair, but staff seemed to be upset with our questions, since they had offered additional bedroom and we refused. "

"This is not a hotel--not between 7 pm and 9 am. It is an essentially empty building with rooms in it. I was traveling through the area and Hradec Kralove was a good stopping point. This looked like a nice enough small hotel from the website. But when when I got there, there is no one there. I got an email the night before informing me of the dismal office hours and with instructions on how to access the room. I got a code to punch in. This was much more like an airbnb-type place, only not really furnished and nothing but a bed, a tiny fridge and a small shower room. Plus side: the wifi worked great. The website says that parking is available. Yeah, right. Public parking a good 10 minutes walk away. It was snowy and icy. Beware! if you have walking/balance issues. You CANNOT park on the street or you will get towed. They knew I was driving and needed to park, but they didn't arrange anything. Once I got there and discovered the parking situation, I called a number hanging on a wall and though the young lady was literally just 50 yards away in a different building, she couldn't come to give me a parking pass for the night on the street. I had to drive to the public parking garage and then walk back. At least I didn't get towed while figuring it out. At least the room was very clean - 100% wood floors. Think Spartan. The heating is old radiator style. Not efficient. No breakfast. I left early and checkout was simply leaving the room door closed. I will go elsewhere next time."

"We had a really nice stay at the Hotel Koruna. The staff were excellent. The hotel backs onto the historic Karlova Koruna and we had a view over the extensive grounds. We had a delicious meal at the Zamecka restaurace which is close to Hotel Koruna."

"A beautiful Autumn week in a gorgeous remodelled family farm house! Extremely well cared for and clean. The barn with the table tennis and pool table was fun for all 3 kids (and parents). The Fusball table inside another added bonus for the kids. We cooked 2 meals on the old (new) wooden stove. If you are a coffee drinker, it is a Nespresso machine so you will need the correct coffee pods found at a larger supermarket. My 6 year old waited patiently every morning for the Grandpa to come and feed the rabbits and sheep and goats. He was so friendly and patient. We didn't have a common language but it certainly didn't matter. The owners were easily reached and came to check on a slight internet problem that couldn't be helped. We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of nature and places to visit in this region of Czech. We would definitely stay again perhaps in winter or summer! Highly recommend this lovely home! It was a relaxing and wonderful Autumn holiday, thank you!"
