"We had a decent one night stay at the Timberline Inn while in the area to hike around Mt. St. Helens. There are few accommodations in this area. The front desk manager was friendly and helpful and they offer complimentary water, fruit and cookies in the small lobby. "No frills, somewhat tired motor lodge with a little life left in it. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is convenient, and the staff is friendly. If you're not looking for anything fancy, this is the place. "

"We were in town for a baseball tournament. The hotel was just blocks from the Chehalis Sports Complex. VERY basic, but had what we needed. It would be great if they changed the type of cleaning product they use. It was extremely potent when we arrived. Thankfully it mellowed with the door and windows opened. We felt very safe there though. "
