"15 minutes from gateway center in Collinsville, IL. Very nice neighborhood with a beautiful lake that is filled with fish, turtles, and ducks that our kids loved. We enjoyed the comfortable beds."

"This is a very clean and nice apartment within a very close drive to the Kinkaid boat launch. Easy to locate and can fit a car with a boat in tow no problem. This spot was also much more quiet than the campground or RV spots nearby. They have a great porch and a grill and we didn’t bring something for it which made me sad. "

"The location was outstanding! The loft was directly across the street from the capitol building from when Vandalia was the Illinois state capital and Abraham Lincoln a legislator there. We wandered over there and the docent was exceptional. The loft is truly IN town, so within easy walking distance of restaurants, the local distillery, pubs, shops, and points of interest. I had no qualms about anything related to the cleanliness of the property! It's a cute, quaint, well- decorated place....

"Limited linens, only two coffee cups. We ended up buying towels, washcloths and a coffee maker. They had a keurig type but we had no k cups and brought ground coffee with us. The dishwasher was not emptied even though it had been run. I had to constantly empty the dehumidifier. And it was freezing, I don’t believe the thermostats work."

"Lovely place. The bare brick walls were amazing. Had all conveniences that I needed. Had minor set up problems but were taken care of in a timely manner. Only suggestion - even though there’s a key pad at street level, I think a door with a peep hole would be nice. Thank you!"

"Our stay was good. Everything that was needed was there. The house is rustic and dark, having a total of two windows in one of the rooms. The biggest negative was not having control of the AC/heater. The instructions said to keep the thermostat at certain temperatures. There was no thermostat. We inquired about it, and were told that they would adjust to our satisfaction via remote. It got hot during the night. No way that I’m waking somebody up. This should be rethought. Otherwise, we were...

"My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights here, and didnt want to leave! From the high ceilings to the exposed brick on the walls it was easy to fall in love with this place! It was private and perfect. If we're ever back in this area we know where we're staying! We highly recommend to everyone. You won't be disappointed! "
