"The Brown Hotel is venerable establishment that always delights. The check-in was professional and very friendly. We were offered the shuttle to and from Churchill Downs. That made our visit very easy. We finished off the evening with cocktails and a Hot Brown at the Lobby Bar. I love this place!"

"We were there for our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. We had 4 rooms which were nice. There were lots of Christmas activities going on. Our dinner at the West Baden resort was wonderful. Both hotels are very nice, but I would recommend the French Lick Hotel if you have kids along."

"This is our second time staying at this hotel. We find it very convenient to Main St distilleries and to the NuLu area on East Market St. The set up in the room is nice and the blackout shades work very well. We like that the elevators are fast and the ice machine in the basement can easily fill our large cooler we have on road trips. "Very nice stay! Very clean, very comfy. 1 block from Louisville Slugger Field and surrounded by many restaurants and bars. Kinda loud after a ballgame, but settled once traffic was gone. Room had a full kitchen, comfy bed but pillows were awful. Shower is big walk-in with good pressure. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Off street parking for $21/day, but come and go as you please. We didn’t swim but pool had families in it all day/night. Staff was super nice. Highly recommend!! Will stay...
