"We did enjoy our stay at the Jolly Sailor, the view was excellent and it was convenient for the Quay etc and only a short walk up to the high street for other Restaurants, although the food at the J.S was very good. The downside was the ensuite, which was very small and basic and the toilet seat was broken and the toilet seemed to be at an angle!! would i recommend?? yes I think so, just for the views, food and very pleasant staff😀"

"Beautifully appointed spotlessly clean room with very comfortable bed! Best hotel room in a long time. Staff were kind, helpful and attentive. I had the vegetarian breakfast and was so impressed at how fresh all the ingredients were and that the chef cooked the veggie sausages to perfection………..most breakfast chefs seem to cremate them! All in all a fabulous experience. "

"We had a such a wonderful time on this beautiful family run boat. My husband and I stayed in the comfort quadruple room with our two young boys aged 6 and 8 to explore Diggerland and Rochester a few minutes away. We were even able to spend a day at Port Lympne Safari an hour' drive during the half-term break. Jeremy and his wife were so warm and hospitable and every little detail on the boat is exceptional. We looked forward to the fresh breakfasts every morning from croissants, pastries,...

"No heating and cheap duvet = freezing cold unable to sleep. No bedside table or bedside light. No seating or "work/eating desk". Small sink in bathroom too small to fill kettle, no plug in sink. Only one light switch in the room (by the entry door). Good mood lighting but got the impression that hourly rates might be available! Didn't stay for breakfast ..... "

"Driftwood Beachhouse is perfectly located to enjoy fresh air, birdsong and peace and quiet. Jez was a great host, really friendly and accommodating, giving us helpful local advice and getting the hot tub ready each evening. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms and outside spaces are really charming, decorated with character and you feel at home. Highly recommended!"

"The owner was very welcoming and friendly nothing was too much bother. The whole house was very dated and not a fresh and clean welcome could of made it more welcoming than it was the porchway that you entered again was terrible thread bare carpet and musty smell dirty windows and bathroom was shabby again it’s in need of a lick of paint and all round freshen up! Bedding was fine but quilts & pillows underneath were disgusting in my opinion this B&B was very over priced! "
