Holiday Inn Miami - International Airport by IHG

Holiday Inn Miami - International Airport by IHG

8/10 Good
"Since the standard room rates are quite reasonable, breakfast is an additional charge—approximately $20 per person for the buffet. Overall cleanliness is good, though I occasionally found hairs left behind by previous guests near the bedside and on the bathroom towels. The bathtub drain mechanism was broken, making it impossible to use the tub properly. Additionally, the in-room Wi-Fi connection was poor and frequently dropped out."

"So amazing, family friendly, so much to do. Only complaint is that everything in the area is SO overpriced. Other than that we had a fantastic time!"

"The only really bad thing is the prices dont reflect the conditions of the room. You have to pay 37 dollars to park 30 dollars in resort fees ontop of the 460.00 night a room. Breakfast is 38 dollars a person so another 100 and the wristbands for the water park is another few hundred dollars this place is very expensive"

"The staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. The rooms were kept clean each day. Room service did a great job. Really enjoy the pool and outdoor amenities in the property. City walk and some parks were in walking disitance on Cabanna Bay and the shuttles are always available. The food was a little expensive especially the beverages but overall, the experience was great."

"The pool is great. If you can, get a room on the beach side. The first floor pool view has a door that opens to the pool. Really great to be able to run back into the room. We were on the 5th floor, still had a nice view of the pool with the balcony. Beach was good, however, a lot of red and purple flags and some days during the 7 days were double red. Spent most of the time in the pool. At breakfast each morning at the property since it was included. For lunch/dinner, there are 8-9 different places that are just a 5min walk to. Rooms were nice. It really seemed like they are due for a renovation. Beds were not the best, and you could tell the bathroom was older. Not horrible by any means, but also not 5 star. They did have something to do every day for the kids which was nice, but the other stuff was not cheap to do for their kids club. They had a DJ at the pool which was nice, but made it so it was hard to even talk to the person next to you with the music so loud and everyone in the pool. Staff was nice. Drinks are very expensive. ($29.99 for a 24oz frozen bucket drink and $7 beers). Out of the other hotels I saw there, this one really did seem like the best. A little pricy for what all you got, but still not a bad deal. The only thing I still need to do is double check my receipt since I think I was randomly charged when I didn't even buy anything on those days directly on my credit card."
