"My husband and I went for a Friday to Sunday weekend break. We had a wonderful time. The staff were amazing all so friendly, welcoming and polite. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was beautiful and so cosy. The food and drink were excellent. We enjoyed it so much we cannot wait to return for another visit."

"We were there for just one night, prior to a cruise. Getting a taxi the next morning was an issue, as there were 4 cruise ships in port. We were travelling with 4 others, so got 1 taxi for 2 and big luggage, and the rest of us walked to the terminal, a 45 minute walk. Weirdly, the hotel is in the middle of a traffic circle, easily crossed to a beautiful park, close to high street"

"Nice lady checked us in. Nice & warm in all areas. Nice bedroom. Had 18 stairs to climb though, not really suitable for the elderly, so ask for a first floor room. Television a bit small for the room but had lots of channels. Quiet area so had a good sleep every night. Convenient for the Mayflower theatre & not too far to the main shopping area if you enjoy a short walk. Close to the railway station too."

"We had a great stay at Bartley Lodge after visiting Peppa Pig world inside Paultons Park Family of four: two adults and two kids age 3 and 7 - both autistic so they are loud and a bit restless waiting, but we felt welcome and comfortable during our stay. The lady managing the dining room brought them colours and books for the table to play with as the conservatory had less WiFi signal for watching cartoons. Great breakfast options really filling and fresh including the usual familiar cereal...
