"Amazing stay, even extended twice. The service is second to none, everything is no problem. From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. Nick the owner is a friendly chap and clearly set the ethos of this place and is always around to help if needed. Kalpa and Umesh (managers) are great, absolute credit to the place. "Lovely place to stay in the jungle and an easy and interesting 10 minute walk to the beautiful beach of Dalawella. Asoka and his staff go the extra mile to make sure you have all you need to have a relaxed and enjoyable holiday. Stayed three weeks and would happily have stayed another three! If you're looking for nightlife this isn't the place for you, but for comfort, peace and tranquility, this is the place to go. Can only highly recommend. "

"Cute little homestay. The dog sounds like it is the biggest meanest dog ever... he is not. He is small, cute and really wants to be chased around the house. The rooms are perfect, AC, Bathrooms are nice with hot showers and a fridge. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Location is great, the town is super noisy and busy, this place is about 200 meters from the busy busy road. 5 minute walk to the beach. Definitely recommended."

"This is truly a lovely hotel, with a great pool and beach front. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and grounds are very well maintained. Entrance feels grand and welcome us very warm. Great kids club. Would definitely return if I had the opportunity. Only minus I experienced was the upselling (day trips, spa treatments) during breakfast. While this may work well with some of the clientele, I found this quite annoying."

"I booked this place on a whim. It had very good reviews and at the price point, I assumed it had to be excellent. I was very disappointed. The room was clean enough, but it didn't even have a chair or table. The only place to sit was the bed. There was a blue light around the ceiling that I couldn't turn off at night. The fridge leaked. The location is really cut off from everything except the blowhole though it is within a short tug tuk ride of places that one might want to see. The overpriced...
