"This is a very nice hotel on the Mumbai waterfront. I got a room on the 30th floor that had a wonderful outlook of the ocean and coast. Lovely. Calming. The room itself was clean and nicely appointed with nice touches like live plants (which seem very rare in hotel rooms). Although I did not get time to use it, the pool area is magnificent. "Iconic hotel , first five star hotel in India with electricity 100+ year old property. We initially booked executive suite facing city, however that was not so impressive , but then we asked for better room and we were upgraded to grand luxury suite for nominal fee and that was facing gateway of India with balcony and it was very nice and luxurious."

"My new favorite hotel in So. Mumbai (beating out The Oberoi and Taj)! Beautiful, stylish, and comfortable rooms. Convenient location allowed me to get around the city. It is also connected to a great mall with fantastic shopping, dining, and a terrific movie theatre. Amazing pool and gym. But the BEST feature? The breakfast. "Had a wonderful short stay at The President in Colaba. The hotel was beautiful and stylish, though slightly more dated than some of its peers (Taj, Trident, etc.). Had an upscale luxury feel to it, but with nice splashes or Indian culture and aesthetics. Room service was excellent.
