Having stayed at several Taj properties in India and Dubai, Taj has always been our preferred hotel brand. Unfortunately, Taj Lands End didn’t quite meet the standards we’ve come to expect. Check-in was disappointing, with confusion over room allocations and repeated requests to resolve matters. The rooms were comfortable but looked tired, and we weren’t informed about ongoing renovations. The hotel has excellent amenities, including the lovely convenience of being able to purchase fresh flowers. The food was very good, and some staff were exceptional. Senior management were attentive and responsive. The entrance and lift staff were wonderful — always welcoming, smiling and asking about our day. Housekeeping were also excellent. However, service was inconsistent. Some junior staff appeared inexperienced, and one pool attendant was particularly rude. The small touches that make Taj special were missing — proactive service, attention to detail and making guests feel genuinely valued. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it lacked the warmth, polish and consistency we’ve experienced at other Taj hotels. With some improvements, this could be an exceptional property.

The rooms were clean and the staff was exceptional. After a hectic day in the city it was a great place to relax and recharge comfortably. They had everything my family and I needed.
