What a WOW of a holiday home…. Pack your suitcases…. **Please note - current residential construction on the neighbouring property till December 2025.** Ohana Holiday Home is waiting for you to arrive. Situated across the road from beach with fabulous views to Dunk Island and beyond to the Family Group of Islands. Ohana has been thoughtfully furnished and is well equipped to ensure your holiday is one of ease and relaxation. The open plan living dining kitchen area look across the front garden to the Coral Sea, Dunk Island and beyond. You can relax on the front verandah taking in the view whilst watching the children play on the beach. Comprising of 3 bedrooms there is a king size bed in the main bedroom with ensuite. You will enjoy waking to the sunrise or watching the moon rise across the Coral Sea as you doze off to the sound of the waves lapping the shore. The 2nd bedroom offers a double bed whilst there is a single bed in the 3rd bedroom. A new edition to Ohana is a fabulous pool. This you will enjoy taking a dip after your morning walk or why not relax and watch the moon rise over Dunk Island. Picture perfect.... Ohana offers air conditioning. Not that air conditioning will be necessary. Open the windows and doors and let the cool sea breezes drift in. If you are wishing to bring your own boat you will have ample of room to park the boat in the rear garden. Choice of 2 boat ramps are available to you. The beachside boat ramp or the Hull River Boat Ramp both only minutes’ drive from Ohana. We know you will enjoy your stay… and we know you will return to stay again at Ohana… You will have access to the entire property except for locked garage. We will be available for as little or as much assistance as you require. We are just a phone call away. Happy to assist with “What to Do” whilst staying at Mission Beach. South Mission Beach is a great location for you to holiday at lazing under the trees on the beach as you gaze out to Dunk Island is a treat. If you are boating enthusiast you have a choice of 2 boat ramps. There is the beach boat ramp at the end of Kennedy Esplanade or the Hull River boat ramp offering a pontoon for you to tie up to. Not wishing to cook... Mission Thai is just down the road... dine in or if staying at Ohana - South Mission Beach we recommend a take away dinner and dine on your balcony enjoying your surrounds. You may also like to enjoy a relaxed meal at Tuskers. Woolworths Supermarket at Wongaling Beach is just a 5 - 10 min drive. The quaint shopping village of Mission Beach offers a selection of cafes, restaurants, bars. There is also Lenny’s Local Fruit & Vegetable store and a great convenience store. You will be tempted at Helen Wiltshire Gallery or one of the fashion or gift stores. The new swimming pool is located at Mission Beach including a hydrotherapy pool. The “Dunk and Splash” water play pad is on the foreshore of Wongaling Beach. The first and third Sunday of each month there a markets in the Ulysses park at Mission Beach. The Mission Beach Monster Markets are held on the last Sunday of each month from Easter Sunday until November. These are also located at Ulysses park at Mission Beach. It is great fun strolling around the village shops and galleries. During the stinger months (November to May) there is a stinger enclosure at South Mission Beach. It is recommended to have a car when staying at South Mission Beach. Another option available is hiring a push bike. This is a great way to get out and about Mission Beach. Riding along the beach is a real treat. On departure the property must be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. In particular: - Dishes need to be washed, properly dried and stacked neatly away or dishwasher emptied. - Please remove any residual food from the fridge and pantry that you supplied during your stay. - BBQ is to be cleaned - Turn off all lights, fans and air conditioners, securely lock the premises, close and lock all windows and return keys to the key safe at the property, or to our office by 10.00am. All rubbish must be placed in the appropriate bin. Bins must not be overflowing.

Tasteful, well chosen upgrades have been made to this lovely cottage overlooking South Mission Beach. Our family enjoyed a week here and would have happily stayed longer. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space. Air conditioning and louvered windows allow good control of the internal temperature and light. The pool was lovely, set amongst well maintained gardens and with a view across the quiet road to the beach and Dunk Island beyond. Undercover car park also appreciated. Would book again and happily recommend to others.

The house was lovely, clean and well styled. Plenty of room in the living areas, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were nice. The pool overlooking the beach was gorgeous. Friendly feedback - shade over or near the pool would be a wonderful addition. Also, now that you have a pool, provide guests with plastic cups and plastic glasses for safety. Thanks again
