"Tracie and Mark are generous and caring hosts. The sit down gourmet breakfast is amazing and worth the stay alone! The expansive grounds are lovely with beautiful flowers and landscaping. Very peaceful and relaxing. This was a return trip for us and we look forward to future visits there again. Thank you!!!"

"The location is great. Close to downtown but without the traffic and noise. The pool was clean with plenty of chairs. I enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the pond drinking my morning coffee. Very peaceful. Rooms have a coffee pot, fridge and microwave. The towels are luxurious. So soft and thick. Bedding however definitely needs an upgrade. Pillows were flat, fitted sheet kept pulling off the mattress due to the slippery mattress cover. The mattress was okay but would have benefited from a quilted mattress pad. Would I stay again? Maybe, depending on how many nights."

"The building is perfectly located across the street from the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. There are many sitting rooms, plenty of books on bookshelves and coffee, tea and water available. Breakfast is made to order from a daily menu. Lots of antiques in every room. Secure access through a push button front lock and individual room keys. There are parking spaces for guests within the corner lot. Communication is minimal with staff with online websites, notebooks in the room provided to answer questions. Beach towels provided. My room was spacious, bed was comfortable and decor was attractive. Bathroom was clean and functional."

"Overall we had a great stay! It was the perfect size for our family vacation! The pool and kitchen were amazing. We would stay here again in the future! One thing to note is that you have to make your own beds when arrive. We’ve never run into that before. I understand there’s a short amount of time to clean that big of house between families, but perhaps another person could be hired to make the beds. It’s not a huge deal, but it was kind of inconvenient to have to make the beds as we were trying to go to sleep and not wake the little ones who were already asleep. There were a couple other little things that could be replaced/fixed: can openers (manual and electric), more toilet paper in the bathrooms (we ran out and had to buy more), old ping pong set, pool room toilet not flushing right. However despite these little inconveniences we did have a great time on our family vacation! Thank you for our stay :)"

"Stayed for just one night and the accommodations were comfortable enough. You could hear lots of noise from other rooms but I was on the first floor and near the lobby which could be why. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty and dusty definitely not up to my housekeeping standards but for one night it was fine."

"We booked not thinking it would be so hot in the tent. The afternoon sun directly hit the front of tent which made the first part of the nights sleep almost unbearable. Mornings were pleasantly cool. The restrooms/shower rooms were a bit further than we anticipated from our tent. Not much to rave about for breakfast- little yogurt and berry cups and muffins of some sort. There were chickens and at least one rooster on property which made it fun for the children who stayed there. Plenty of room to run. S’mores around a fire in the evenings was nice. Stay was within a 1015 minute drive from most places in South Haven. May consider staying again if the opportunity arose just not in the heat of the summer."
