10/10 Excellent

"The hotel room cleanliness is of a very high standard. The complementary breakfast is extraordinary with a different majority of food and with a good procedure to take care of guests. The rooftop bar was sophisticated and attracts high class clientele. The room space is big enough to feel comfortable. There is individual Wi-Fi for each room that allows you to connect your phone to the TV. And the location downtown was excellent."

"Friendly staff. Bathroom needs more hooks to hang clothes and towels, carpet could use more vacuuming, telephone in the room didn’t work, after turning on tv you had to enter the guide button to watch live tv, and always one minute later it went back to wanting you to Chromecast and we had to reset the channel we were watching. The shower curtain was about 1-2 inches too short and every time one showered the floor would get wet unless we turned the shower head toward the wall. The elevator made a grinding noise but we got used to the noise when in the room. No coffee maker or coffee in room but the morning coffee and fruit was nice. Room was big enough for a queen sized bed which was comfortable .The view was good. The location was good if you are comfortable with public transportation. E/W bus 66 two blocks north, N/S bus 22 was 1/2 block away and N/S bus 156 was 1/2 block away. The L red train about 4 blocks away by walking alone. All in all I would recommend this hotel if you plan for it’s known limitations."

"Parking was difficult, trying to trek luggage around and find parking was terrible, but the staff was helpful. You can pull in front of the hotel and unload and they will hold your luggage. There is a parking lot behind the hotel, spaces were very tight and prices were about $45 a night. Hotel was built in 1893 so the rooms aren’t extravagant, they have character. Great location for walking the city. "

"Very clean rooms. Housekeeping doesn't clean rooms daily. Every few days, so I had to ask for clean towels. No big deal. Breakfast was awesome! Kiss the cook! Staff was friendly and hotel in the heart of it all. Great bagels next door. Will definitely stay there again."
