"Being an older building it has it's quirks which add to the charm. The hotel is across from the beach and an easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Recommend the breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"Really lovely hotel. Maybe a little tired but very clean and in a perfect location for walking to the beach and SW coast path. Staff very welcoming. We took our dog and he was welcomed with a separate eating area next to the restaurant so he could stay with us for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was an excellent buffet with plenty of choice. Bar and outside sitting areas with lovely views to the sea and all dog friendly. Highly recommend. "

"Nice hotel with a full service restaurant. Staff were VERY friendly. I am just mot a fan of bathrooms without hooks or counter space to store toiletries. There was a heated towel bar, pedestal sink and 2 ft tall 3 tiered basket next to sink. No place to put make-up, brushes, ect. "

"A beautiful entrance as you drive up to the hotel. Loads of parking spaces. The receptionist was very polite & efficient when booking us in. The rooms were tidy/clean well kept. The bed was confortable, the pillows were to die for. Loved our evening meal, great choices, & flavoursome. The grounds were picturesque & loved the wild life/nature. Perfect for a stroll. Only negative was the loudness of doors banging shut. Otherwise I give this hotel 4stars "

"We loved the hotel and its closeness to the BIC, city centre and beach, plus easy car parking which was another £12 but worth it seeing where it is.The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs, we had no problem changing our room as the first room was very clean but unfortunately had a very stale odour, the furniture was very tired and we also had very noisy people above us. There was absolutely no hesitation in moving us to a lovely suite on the 3rd floor which was unexpected,...
