"This is a very special place in my home state of Colorado. It doesn't take much imagination to feel like you are 150 years removed from the present day in this spot which is 2 block walk (uphill but just one way) to center of town. So very fun and a well kept secret so I apologize to the staff if I'm giving it away. But too good and fun not to comment. Thanks Bill and we hope to see you soon!"

The manager was very nice overall it was a great experience the only thing that bothered me of the area, which I was not aware of was the thousands and thousands of mosquitoes. It would’ve been nice to know that there was a mosquito issue in the area so we could’ve properly prepared but as far as the facility itself, it was great. "Rented the upstairs space with Theresa Pino for three days following the Labor Day weekend. My stay there was nice and peaceful. The room was very clean and stocked with amenities. Theresa (the hostess) is very friendly and she makes the stay seem very friendly."

"I was in town for gravel biking. The room and its location was perfect. Easy walk to all the downtown restaurants. Quick access to the biking routes. Theresa found room in her shed to store my bike. Theresa was helpful with advice and history. Enjoyed my stay."

"Not to miss sunsets and sunrises in the valley that you only find when camping here! And being a dark sky park allows the stars to dazzle you at night. Great accommodations and location. The staff is super nice. Only downside is how close the tents are. We came on a holiday weekend and the place was full. Lots and lots of kids running screaming, which made it not so restful for us quiet types. But all of the views made up for the bad people experience."

"Got in around 6pm and had a warm welcome from Kevin, the owner. Very pleasant setting and very quiet. We stayed in a family cabin with bunk bed for kids. Their room got very toasty overnight with the heat set around 70F because we had their door closed. The whole place was so clean and well-stocked with kitchen dishes and utensils, even some coffee in case you forget to bring your own. Their was virtually no sound besides the trees, the occasional deer walking past, and the distant river all...
