"Amazing art deco hotel right on Ocean Drive. The staff was very friendly and accommodation. Cute little bar with affordable and great food for Happy Hour. The food in the main dining areas were great too. The Hotel is right across the beach. The water was crystal clear. We felt safe to walk around at all times. Absolutely no complaints about anything. If we ever go back to South Beach, we will stay at Avalon again. "

"Convient location, only a couple blocks from the beach. Quiter and safer than many other places I have stayed at in South Beach. Very nice pool and spacious outdoor area with lots of chairs and tables. Water/Ice stations in each building were a nice plus. Room itself was good, average size and clean. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. "

"Second time staying here and we loved it. The location it’s perfect, walkable distance everything. A lot of dining options in the hotel and the area around. They upgraded our room which was amazing and beach chairs and umbrellas were complimentary of the hotel. We had a great experience and enjoyed every minute of it. Would highly recommend this hotel "
