With a seven-minute walk to the main bus line and 15 minutes to the tube, as well as many grocery stores and bakeries nearby, it's perfect for living like a local. It rained a lot but we were happy to be in our cozy house. It's about a 30-60 minute ride on public transport though to many tourist sites, but we enjoyed bringing a book along for our double-decker bus rides across town! "

I would comment that the photos you see in the listing are very edited for contrast. The accommodations are very basic. The suite is divided into five private rooms, each with their own lock and key. This is ideal for backpackers, but for a family of five with small children and seniors, the heavy doors were slamming...

"Our family of six stayed here for a couple of weeks over the Christmas holidays when we came to visit family and friends. Really spacious house, so plenty of room for us all. All the bedrooms were a great size and the living room was enormous! I loved the huge kitchen area, which was also spacious, where we could cook and eat as a family and host our friends who popped in for drinks. The pool table and hot tub were an added bonus! It's in great location, only a couple of minutes walk to the tube...
