"The rooms were spacious, the buffet breakfast delicious and the staff was very friendly. However, our key didn't work. I had to go to the lobby 7 times for this, which was a hassle. Also, in a 5 star resort there should be some things for kids to play with in the pool and more pampering amenities in the room, beside the obligatory shower cap. Also, a free shuttle to Chania would have been a big advantage. "

"It was a great hotel close to Balos and Elafonissi beaches. The hotel was really clean, but there was some funky smell close to our room when we opened the door. The pool was nice and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The waves were a little harsh, but really great. "

"Absolute gem of a place, great location - quiet & peaceful but a short stroll downhill to the Main Street & several restaurants up the hill too. Beautiful beach a 10 min walk away. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. They organised us taxis to/from the airport & sorted a hire car for us too. Nothing was too much trouble, we were met from the taxi with cool drinks and a very warm welcome which made us feel so special. The apartment was poolside which was great, there were always loungers to relax on & several times we had the pool to ourselves. We had everything we needed in the apartment- plenty of crockery & a nice big fridge/freezer. Huge bonus was having 3 bedrooms as our teenagers no longer want to share & meant there was plenty of space for us all. Daily cleaners were lovely, always smiling & did a fantastic job. We really felt at home here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat not too far off the beaten track! "The service is excellent. The property is recently refurbished and the freshness of interior and exterior design shine through. The food is decent and there is a good variety. Snack bars operating through out day time with kids favorite food. We really liked this facility. The beach is in the property as well, meaning it's accessible through out the day. "

"Although the staff was very nice helpful, and professional, the resort is in desperate need for maintenance. We also had to change room 3 times (on the basis of a disturbing noise in the first one) and every room we were given had severe maintenance issues. Our third one (246) also had a really bad sewage smell coming from the interior garden. Would not recommend."
