His booklet full of recommendations was really useful as well, we did/saw/ate lots that we wouldn’t have known about without it. "The place is located in a beautiful hilltop with a great view. Inside it is equipped with a decent kitchen. The host is lovely. However it has no internet so you have to rely on a local phone network which is not great because you are in the mountains. Just something to know beforehand. I had to work and had to go to Kalyves when I had meetings. But other than that we enjoyed the great views and the small villages in the area."

"Good location for various nice beaches, tavernas, etc. Nice property/beach house. Great hosts and hospitality. Was nice for family. Super close to one beach, while many others within short drive. Town nearby for shopping."

"Great location. House is 3 bedrooms with 2 baths. Very quiet neighborhood up the hill yet close to Chania old town/Venetian harbor by car. Also close to airport. House is very clean. The view of the sea is amazing with 3 balconies (2 facing the sea). You can enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning without any disturbances. Kitchen is fully equipped, but we only used the kettle and nespresso machine. Host, very responsive and replies within mins to any questions you might have. Great stay"
