Perfect house in Sooke

My wife and I loved our stay here with our 7 month old daughter. The entire home is very spacious, modern, and clean. It exceeded expectations and is one of the nicest vrbo's we have stayed at. We would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Sooke area and will try to book again the next time we are back.

One of the Best Places To Stay In Sooke

We have stayed at many VRBO's in the Sooke area and have to say this is one of our favorites. Great location with only a 5 minute walk to the Whiffin Spit. House is New and very nicely finished inside and out. Can not wait to go back again.

Excellent well-equipped modern house

Quiet location where deer wander through the garden. Easy access to Wiffin Spit and access to the shore at several points round the peninsular, where we saw seals, eagles, and sea otters.

Gorgeous house that's extremely well equipped

The owner has a fabulous attention to detail, she has thought of everything - I really appreciated the yoga mat and hand weights. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The only downdide is that the outdoor seating area is a bit dark as well shaded by nearby trees.

The Best Place To Stay In The Sooke Area

The property is New and in immaculate condition. Equipped with all the modern accessories and comforts you would expect in a new home. All in all, the best value in the Sooke area and just a short distance to the Whiffin Spit as a bonus for those that like that morning walk in beautiful surroundings. Darcie is excellent to deal with. Stay here once you will definitely want to come back.

A lovely gem in Sooke BC

We stayed 4 nights at this beautiful home in Sooke BC. This isn’t our first stay at an accommodation like this … But it IS the loveliest one to date! The home is immaculate, well equipped with many touches in both the decor and also in the amenities to make a stay enjoyable and relaxed. Small details like spices and oil in the kitchen, a few toiletries if you’ve forgotten anything at home, plenty of fluffy white towels for all guests, and very comfortable beds and pillows, all make for a great accommodation! Thanks for a lovely introduction to the island!

Spectacular

It is an absolutely gorgeous home. So close to Whiffin Spit, beautiful neighborhood, close to everything Sooke has to offer. Short drive to Shirley and Victoria. The house is immaculately clean, rain shower in bathroom with heated floor. Kitchen is well stocked with many of the things you would need and a great spice rack. Living room is cozy with a gas fireplace for those damp cooler days. Nice treats left for guests and friendly family to visit with. Right across the street is a whale watching company and fishing charters close by. Run, don’t walk to this rental.

Immaculate, clean property, includes all the essentials needed

The house is in a very quiet area, great for relaxing indoors and out. Everything inside is wonderfully new, no expense spared and exceptionally clean. We choose this property also because of the EV charger, Tesla charged up overnight and was ready for full trip each day. Appreciated that Wifi was strong since there was still some work to be done while on vacay. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated that even different pillow options were available, for those of us who like our pillows on the firmer side :). Best sleep ever! A nice walk to Whiffin Spit to catch the sunset in the evenings and it was a very short drive over to restaurants nearby (Route 14 Bistro is excellent). Our host Darcie, was great in responding to requests. We enjoyed our time in Sooke and hope to return in future.

It was a complete delight!

I can't say enough nice things about our stay at Coastal Soul. We originally booked this place because of its close proximity to Whiffen Spit Park, but were delighted to see how lovely the property was. The entire place and everything in it was new, having only been built in April of this year, and everything was up to date with the latest home styles. It was very well appointed and very well thought out. We enjoyed our daily walks to the Spit, a 5 minute walk away. But the hospitality! Darcie and her father were warm and friendly. When I inquired about where I could find some of the local seafood, they surprised us with a very kind gift. We've made travelling to the Island almost an annual thing since the end of the pandemic and I would have no hesitation about booking here again when we come by the area.

Beautiful home plus so much more!!

My family spent 4 days at this great vacation property in Sooke. The house is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood within walking distance to the Whiffin Spit park. We were able to see deers roaming around during the first 2 nights there. The property has a level 2 Flo/EV charging station which was a bonus for our PHEV. The house is brand new - it is well built and so beautiful! The property was very clean, nicely decorated and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious and bright kitchen, and sleeping on very clean and comfortable beds. At sunset, we enjoyed sitting by the kitchen and living room as some of the sun shone through the windows. The heat pump kept us nice and cool inside the house during the heatwave. The owner (Darcie) thought of all the details that guests may need and appreciate (ie. sewing kit, toiletries, snacks, iron, ironing board, first aid kit etc...). She also surprised us by giving us freshly caught salmon during the first night of our stay (her son went fishing earlier in the day). We appreciated her kindness and generosity. Overall, we highly recommend this vacation home to travellers who plan to visit the Sooke area, and we will definitely stay here again in the future.
