"Very good option for a budget motel. Clean, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. Like all at this very low price point, there's some wear and tear, but they try very hard and do many small things better than expensive hotels. Breakfast is minimal, but adequate and better than some other extremely low-cost places. Wi-fi not so good, but you can't expect everything at this price."

historic spots to explore. The court house at the top of the hill is lovely and very respectful of the veterans who have served since the civil war! Very old cemetery has folks from the 1800s on. Great dining -Pine Grill. Family owned & local fave.

Seems like a quiet town. Didn't have much time there, but I was left with a decent impression that it is a nice town.

We appreciate the convenience off the turnpike. We love dining at the Pine Grill.
"We had a great stay here. Just a couple of issues. We used the online link to pre-register, I even submitted a snapshot of my drivers license. All of this was to speed up the check-in process. When we arrived at the front desk, they had no record of our pre-registration and we had to go all through the process again. Another issue was that we thought the window air conditioner was broken. The controls on it did nothing. When we mentioned it at the front desk on our way out to get dinner, we were told that the controls were on the wall. It might help customers if a sign or sticker indicating that the air conditioner controls are on the wall was placed on the window air conditioner. The staff at the front desk says this happens all of the time, so a sticker would definitely help customers. The room was clean and had a refrigerator, microwave, queen sized bed and working TV with a channel guide. We had to leave early in the morning for our event, so we didn't have the opportunity to partake of the offered breakfast. Thank you Days Inn for an enjoyable experience! "
"The chalet was an exceptional property—one of the few properties I’ve ever stayed where the photos online undersold how great the location is in person. My group and I stayed for a relatively low-key weekend and spent nearly the entire trip just hanging around the house and backyard. The house was extremely clean, fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom amenities, and contained a finished basement with multiple TVs, a bar, and a poker table. The wifi was great despite over a dozen devices being connected to it at once, the air conditioning was an unimaginable luxury on one of the hottest weekends of the year, and we comfortably slept 10 people without anyone needing to share bed space (we did bring several air mattresses, which we were fine with). Of course, there are plenty of other activities to tap into close by, but the space was nice enough that we didn’t really feel compelled to leave. I cannot recommend this property highly enough, except for the next time my group and I intend to book it, in which case I recommend staying elsewhere so I can come here again. "

"The description and location of the property was precisely as advertised. No surprises whatsoever and we enjoyed our stay in the home very much. What cannot be "seen" or "viewed" on the site is the degree to which Lisa, the host, communicated and assisted in every component our visit. When asked for recommendations for hikes, activities and restaurants in the area, she not only provide information, but also wise guidance based on her own experiences. She made the entire process from booking through check-out incredibly simple even helping change the reservation when VRBO systems weren't cooperating. Additionally, her response time to inquiries was nearly always immediate. If you are looking for a deciding factor in choosing one option over another in the Laurel Highlands, this property's host should make that decision easy!"
