The Casselman Inn

"Grantsville is a neat town and the Casselman Inn and motel are historic and well maintained. The Casselman Restaurant is also a good spot for food and we got 50% off on our food for staying. Continental breakfast is okay but its also nice to order and sit down for breakfast. We stayed in the motel which is behind the main building and restaurant. The Inn has rooms as well. There is also a Casselman Bakery that is close to the property."

"Our group of 5 ladies ranging in age from 63-79 had a fun girls weekend. Communication from the host was very good and access to the house was hassle free. Figuring out who was best able to get up and down the spiral staircase to the loft room, especially at night, took a little negotiating, but we worked it out. The house was very clean and tidy, linens were fresh and the kitchen had the equipment we needed. The weekend ended up being quite humid and rainy and, without air-conditioning, the house felt very damp and the laundry room smelled mildewy. The house’s location was perfect for the event we attended at the fairgrounds and I can imagine it would be quite convenient for access to skiing and lake activities."

"The staff were very nice and welcoming. The view of the lake from the front porch was beautiful. The staff took us on a pontoon boat of the lake which was relaxing and allowed us to see how calm and peaceful the lake is. I would recommend staying there."

"It's hard to find a pet friendly place to stay where you and your pet feel comfortable so it was especially nice to find this place that seemed very welcoming for our pet. The host was wonderful and the lake view was marvelous."
