"This was a great home base with our dog. We were able to go for runs and walks, and easily drove to our various functions. It is a historic farmhouse, so expect minor oddities in the layout."

"The ONLY bit of an issue was that there is some sort of (what I think may be a backwash cycle with a pump or septic system) noise that comes on next to 2 of the bedrooms. This often happened randomly in the middle of the night and it can be a little loud. If it is indeed a pump, maybe it could be set up and scheduled to come on only during the day. Everything else was very clean, nice, and updated."

With lots of charm and plenty of space, we felt at home right away, and our kids kept asking to go back to the "new house" so they could play on the bunk beds and flop around on the big sofa in the living room. The location is perfect, too, with quick access to the beach, downtown Racine, grocery stores, and plenty of beautiful neighborhood streets for a walk."

"This place was very cute and clean. The beds are soft and comfortable with comfortable living room seating too. Cozy kitchenette and overall very comfortable space. The owner is a great communicator and check in was easy. Loved the welcome sign with my name at check in. I would definitely stay here again should we come back up to Racine in the future!"

"Our visit to Waukegan, IL was to attend my son's navy boot camp graduation. The property was nice and in a quiet neighborhood hood. It is close to the Great Lakes Naval base and the beach. We enjoyed our stay."

"My family and I stayed here for my sons Navy Bootcamp graduation. It has 3 rooms. 2 of them have beds. One is a king I believe. The other is a California king, it was sooooo comfortable. The pillows and blankets were like the nice hotels. The other room had bunk beds but it was a full size on the bottom and twin on top. Only reason I’m giving a 4/5 stars is bc that bunk bed was uncomfortable and did t seem safe. The girls only slept there one night."
