Everyone is concerned about COVID. We have a cleaning crew of 2 that spends 3 hours for a turnaround. Starting with airing out the space completely, all sheets, throws, covers and towels are washed and bleached, and all hard surfaces are wiped down with a disinfectant and/or alcohol. Additional attention is paid to wipe down frequently handled surfaces. Know that every door knob, every handle - for the refrigerator, microwave, faucet, shower etc and every switch is wiped down with a disinfectant. As parents with kids that love to travel, our cleaning protocol is designed for a stress-free experience for our guests. And we want you to book with that confidence.

Nice place to stay for a night away, the photos show the beauty of the area. It was easy to get into the apartment even with a late check-in and it felt like the host was very easy to access since they were just upstairs.
Patio area was nice but a bit small. The gazebo was very pretty and the view was unique. Plenty of space for the two of us, we could definitely see 4 people staying there comfortably!
Thank you for allowing us to stay in another of your incredible properties ... Enjoyed a nice getaway with my wife. Beautiful location with a creek running along the back of the property. Look forward to seeing you soon .. Thank you, Will & Brenda
We had incredible experience/ stay at this place. The host is very friendly and flexible! The place is absolutely gorgeous with amazing view of the lake. Very clean well kept home! Definitely recommend this place!!
It was a beautiful place! Only reason I’d say 4 and not 5 stars is because we didn’t realize it was a basement. That being said though it was beautifully designed and you can tell they keep it updated! Lovely place, would go back for sure!!!
This place was truly wonderful. It felt like a fairy tale land. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a getaway that is romantic. The hosts were wonderful and we will be back again!
This place has amazing decks overlooking a wooded creek, perfect for relaxing and eating on. The house was convenient to stores and to the beach. The hosts are super communicators and left, not only a clean, spacious place but also special touches to welcome us. We enjoyed the kitchen, comfortable bedroom, dining room and living room. Very nice stay!
The stay was wonderful! Could not have asked for a better spot! Will be coming back in the fall. You just have to experience for yourself, the wonderful spot
Great view of trees / stream and clean, but needs attention
The view of the trees and stream is great. Apartment was clean. AC worked well and the bed was comfy. A bottle of wine was chilled for us on arrival. A few things…the door to the apartment does not latch or lock. A key is provided, however the door is a jar that prevents it closing completely. The shower has the beginning of mold growth. The pictures of the deck show well maintained outdoor furniture. There were no cushions to be able to sit outside comfortably.
Abey's cozy apartment is exactly what we were looking for. It truly does have a tree house feel with the deck/porch being set the way it is. The little nook outside our room was a bonus and a great place to read or have coffee in the morning. The homemade chai tea was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Milwaukee/Racine area. Abey is an extremely attentive host and makes sure you have everything needed during your stay and will even provide recommendations on things to see/do, if needed. Thank you for being such amazing hosts!
The Treehouse Getaway was even better than advertised! The unit was beautifully decorated, with welcoming touches all around - starting with the bottle of wine chilling on ice awaiting our arrival. The alcove at the end of the deck was a comfortable, private little area to relax and listen to the breeze blowing through the trees and the little stream running behind the property.
The hosts, Abe and Asha were genuinely friendly and had excellent recommendations for dining and sightseeing in the area, and the unit contained everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
We hope to visit the Treehouse again, and DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone traveling to the Milwaukee area!
I can’t begin to describe how wonderful this place and host were! We were looking for a quick getaway as time along is in short supply, and my girlfriend and I had long discussed how staying in a "treehouse" would be so unique, and this place did not disappoint! Abe was extremely accommodating prior to our arrival and had both the indoor and outdoor arrangements absolutely perfect based on our discussion. We spent HOURS lounging in the space just outside the bedroom, well into the wee hours of the morning as we wanted to squeeze every bit of solitude and peace out of our night as possible.
We will absolutely be booking here again in the near future, and we're already looking forward to it!
This rental is tucked away in a beautiful, tree-filled setting that feels private and peaceful. The home itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, which we truly appreciated. The property does back up to a golf course, which is mostly hidden by trees, so you may hear some activity during the day. It wasn’t an issue for us, but worth noting for those who prefer complete quiet. We added the 100 romance package, which included champagne, roses, swan-shaped towels with petals, and chocolates. Everything was provided as described, but in the summer heat it was difficult to fully enjoy the space. The ceiling fan worked but was quite slow, and there weren’t extra fans available to help keep the area cool. Looking back, we realize many of the gorgeous photos were likely taken in fall or winter, when the setting would feel even cozier. The gazebo is a lovely idea for a meal, but the main table was a bit wobbly. Lanterns and candles were there, though nothing was lit and there wasn’t a lighter provided. Small touches like these could easily elevate the overall experience and help capture that romantic, picture-perfect feel from the listing.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the natural surroundings. With just a few extra details, this property has the potential to feel truly magical year-round.
We loved being able to experience the area with a short drive to Miwaukee! The vrbo owner left champagne and chocolate for us for our honeymoon, which was so sweet. We appreciated the local nature views and the warm cup of homemade chai that the host provided. ☺️ Great location!
My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this house. It was in a neighborhood, yet it seemed like it was miles from anywhere. The porches were private and inviting. It was nice to be able to cook our own breakfast and make our own coffee in the kitchen. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Abe provided us with mulled wine and chai tea which was a delightful and delicious bonus served in his gazebo. We would recommend this place, and we hope to be back there one day!
Abe’s place was unique. Easy check-in and comfy bed. Huge tv with Netflix. Owner was in Europe so no cafe lattes for us! Spent most of time at son’s house in Kenosha but mornings on Abe’s porch. Living room furniture needs updating. More bowls and cooking pans needed as well as directions for AC. UmbrellaS would have been appreciated and extra batteries for the TV remote that died. Outdoor fire pit not working either. May have been out of propane. Average experience.
First, the space is just gorgeous, clean and tidy and efficient. The setting is spectacular and really does feel like a tree house. It was just warm enough to sit out and enjoy the late afternoon sun coming through the trees. Second, our hosts, Abe and his charming family, were delightful, busy around the woods and stream, working and playing. Abe graciously offered mulled drinks in the evening as delicious Chai in the morning,
welcoming and attentive while respecting our privacy. A memorable stay indeed.
