Best Western Palmyra Inn & Suites

6/10 Okay

"The hotel was not grungy. However, it was not great and some things made me cringe. We took our four girls for a one night stay. The hotel lobby was hotter than the outside temperature and the hallway stank like trash. The hot tub was full of sand (???) and lacking towels. The fitness room was without towels, water, and weights. There were dead bugs in the corners of our room and a lack of bedding for the pull out bed. The breakfast was sparse and the garbages full. All in all, it really wasn’t awful. The beds were clean (from what we could see) and the bathroom looked fresh. But if we are ever in the area again, I don’t believe we would stay here a second time. I’m sad that, to save money for a family to have a place to stay for the night, it means skimping on quality."

"This home was lovely and worked great for our needs. We had four small families staying together, with four kids aged 3-13. There was enough sleeping space for everyone, room to relax and play inside, a large kitchen, and the extra fridge and pantry was super convenient. The huge, contained yard was fantastic for kids, and access to the beach for fishing, walking, and exploring was great. I wish the guests had more flexibility in controlling the thermostat. We had an issue the first night not being able to turn on the heat, which was fixed the next morning, but then we couldn't adjust the temperature at all, so it was hard to regulate the temperature inside, especially upstairs. Overall, our stay was great and we would love to return again sometime."

Waterfront Sodus Gem w/ Dock, Game Loft, Bay View

"The house is amazing, great location and plenty of room for us to gather. The small house has its own kitchen, bathrooms and two bedrooms. We were able to cook a big dinner for everyone in the kitchen.The neighbor was lovely. We were able to rent a boat and dock right at the house. Lovely place."

Amazing Lake View Cottage with Game room for Kids of all ages

"Had a very relaxing stay. We met John (the host) when we arrived. Very easy check-in. Weather was not agreeable during our stay so the game room in the garage was awesome to have. We reached out to John to turn on the heat in the garage and he got back to us within minutes. Beds were extremely comfortable and the camp was very clean. The location is right in the middle of town. Short walk to many bars and restaurants. All in all A and we look forward to renting from John again."

"Our overall experience at this rental property was great!We couldn't ask for more as it was very comfortable and closely located to the downtown area.We would definitely recommend the property to others looking for a rental property in the area.The host was very responsive and easy to work with."

"This house was a great place for our group during an extended stay for a work trip. It was located in a nice quiet neighborhood which was great. The home was clean and well stocked for our stay. The hosts answered our texts promply as well and they were great to work with. We would definitely stay again."

Sodus Bay View at the Point

"We stayed at Sodus bay view for Christmas weekend2025. The property was clean and was the perfect place for our family to “meet in the middle” for the holiday. The kitchen was very well equipped and had a nice assortment of glassware , pots pans and silverware. The beds were comfortable and even though we provided our own linens for each it didn’t deter from comfort or the over all experience. The water was HOT and shower pressure good. Nice view of the bay and neighborhood/beach. The dogs enjoyed long walks around before the snow blanketed the town. First floor bathroom and bedroom were a must for my elderly dad who joined in on the family fun. "
