"My wife and I booked Hotel Kilkenny. We arrived early and checked in. On a walk my wife tripped and fell needing a trip to the emergency room. The reception staff at the hotel went above and beyond getting everything she needed for the trip to the hospital. When we returned to the hotel, everyone was so kind asking how she was doing. The breakfast was made to order and was excellent. Every member of the staff from front desk, bar, dining and housekeeping were amazing. Our room was beautiful. The housekeeping staff kept all our amenities refilled. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. When I return to Kilkenny, I will stay at this hotel again."

"Beautiful hotel with very, very clean rooms and comfortable beds. We had their most basic room for our 1 night stay and it was perfectly cosy and opulent. I loved the bath with bath salt, the bvlgari soap, and the pool was great as well. Breakfast was buffet and order from the table. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day!"

"Fantastic Host, Great Location, and Comfortable Stay!Overall, we had a good stay, but what really stood out was the exceptional hospitality! We were having trouble finding accommodations because all the hotels were booked. Although the property typically requires a minimum stay of 2 to 3 nights, the owner kindly made an exception and accommodated us for the one night we needed. We were incredibly grateful!The property itself was noticeably older than it appeared in the photos, but it was comfortable. When we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the heat, the owner immediately sent someone over to help. His responsiveness and willingness to accommodate us were truly 5 star service!A couple of things to be aware of: all the bedrooms are upstairs, while the only bathroom is downstairs, which can be inconvenient during the night. The beds also didn’t have top sheets, which was a little unusual, but I slept very comfortably.The location is fantastic! Everything downtown is within easy walking distance, so there’s no need for a car or taxis.While the property could use some updating, the comfortable beds, unbeatable location, and especially the owner’s outstanding hospitality made this a positive experience. Five stars for service and hospitality!"
