"Breakfast was not the best experience. Lots of getting up and down to collect items and get tea/ coffee. It was the only 4 star hotel on our trip where hot drinks were not served at the table. Unusual hot food service where the hot food buffet was cut off by a barrier and could not be accessed individually but had to wait in line until a server came over when they were free"

The staff was great and we ate breakfast at the restaurant both days we stayed. Centrally located in Kilkenny to restaurants and shopping and the castle. Having parking was a bonus! We highly recommend the Club House Hotel."

"Our stay was towards the end of a 10 day road trip through Ireland and I was really looking forward to staying at Mount Juliet Estate. Website and booking sites show a huge old manor house but our accommodation ended up being in a Marriot on a golf course. I wouldn't consider it a 5 star hotel. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable however the bathroom was shabby, dirty and the door didn't close properly. Breakfast was included and had a good selection."
