"We had a wonderful stay. Easy instructions, helpful host and a lovely room to stay in. Very clean and the bed was comfy. Blessed also with glorious weather in October!! The only point I’d raise was the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great but it worked and was hot!! Will definitely rebook!!"

They were playing Alanis music in the bar which I thought was a nice touch so you could get in the mood. "Although a comfortable stay a few things were not to the standard that would warrant the room price.
1) only one pack of biscuits for two people not good
2) a significant number of cobwebs around the corners of the room, ceilings and floors
3) towels had marks on them
4) for a two night stay I would have expected the room to be cleaned, towels to be changed, clean coffee cups and coffee/biscuits replenished

"The location of the property is good if you don't mind walking. The parking permit given to allow parking in certain zones is very good. Although if busy can be difficult to find a space but that is nothing the owners can control. The room was clean.
We had the small double room. It is very compact. The bed seems very small for a double and is pushed against a wall, not ideal when 2 people are sleeping in it. The shower was small too. You can hear the conversations in the next room.
